SLU has begun developing a new strategy for 2021–2025. According to the new strategy model, the faculty strategies will be an annex to the university strategy. The LTV Faculty began working on its strategy in autumn 2019.

“Things are going well, and we are currently in a phase where a lot is happening in our operations,” says Denis Avdic, responsible faculty administrative officer.

The process of developing a LTV Faculty strategy began in autumn 2019 when the faculty management conducted a SWOT analysis. It was also discussed during the head of department and faculty board meeting in December. In January this year, the heads of subject also took part and discussed the analysis.

The heads of subject now have until March to, together with their respective divisions, discuss and prioritise the SWOT analysis. This work will be the base for the next step in the process: formulating objectives.
