More visitors allowed in assembly halls

Published: 05 October 2020

The Board of Education has decided to allow more visitors in spaces that can seat 300 people or more. This decision applies to Alnarp and Ultuna, as long as certain criteria are fulfilled.

On 5 October, the chair of the Board of Education decided that SLU spaces that can seat 300 people or more are to be exempt from the requirement to allow a maximum of 50 people at the same time.

This applies provided that there is a distance of at least 1.5 metres between visitors
when people enter and leave the room, and that other guidelines from the Public Health Agency aimed at reducing the spread of the virus are observed.

The exemption applies until further notice but until 17 January 2021 the latest.

This decision concerns the Alnarp and Ultuna assembly halls and means they can be used for more purposes, which in turn facilitates planning and delivering teaching.
