The official SLU fax number 018-67 20 00, which up till now has been part of the university’s official address, has been discontinued.
The reason why the fax number has been kept this long is that the previous Administrative Procedure Act required authorities to be available by fax.
- In the new Administrative Procedure Act, this requirement is gone, and we have a more technology-neutral wording, explains Lennart Jonsson, Head of Legal Affairs. We can now phase out the fax in the same way we have done with telex and telegrams.
However, the University Animal Hospital will continue to use fax to communicate with vets at some of their clinics.
This means that all references to the fax number 018-67 20 00 must be removed, on web pages, in letter templates, etc. Also, please remember to check your personal email signature as these sometimes contain the SLU fax number.
