Consultative assembly appointed

Published: 27 September 2018

The process of selecting a new vice-chancellor includes the faculties appointing a number of members and personal deputies to the consultative assembly. During a meeting on 12 September, the faculty board appointed eleven members and eleven personal deputies.

In total, the consultative assembly consists of 45 members appointed by, among other things, the faculties, students and staff organisations.

SLU’s recruitment group will now select a number of vice-chancellor candidates who will be interviewed and then heard by the consultative assembly on 12 November. On 17 December, the SLU Board will decide which candidate to propose. The government will then make the final decision on who will be the new vice-chancellor of SLU.
