I am a PhD student within the PERFORCE3 european training network, an interdisciplinary consortium investigating different aspects related to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). My research goal is to investigate innovative treatment techniques for PFAS in stormwater, groundwater, wastewater and landfill leachate. I am focusing on electrochemical degradation, biological treatment, foam fractionation and electrocoagulation, but am also interested in other treatment technologies.
Background
I have double bachelor degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and a master degree in civil engineering with a focus on water treatment from the TU Delft.
