Cecilia Sundberg
Teaching
I teach bioenergy, climate and sustainability at the Energy Systems Engineering programme.
Research
My research concerns climate impact and other environmental impacts from bioenergy, food, organic waste and biomaterials. In particular, I am interested in how biochar can improve the impacts from various complex systems, and the methods needed to quantify this. I have projects in Sweden and Kenya.
Cooperation
I am assigned as collaboration expert on climate impact of land use. I perform research and education on transtion to fossil-free technical systems in collaboration with a wide range of organisations. I am Lead Author for the 2027 IPCC Methodology Report on Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (Additional guidance)
