Let's talk science! Whose knowledge shapes the forest?

Forests are shaped by interacting ecological processes and human decision-making. The knowledge, values and interests  that guide forest governance and management affect how forests are understood and what they provide for society.

Join us to explore whose knowledge, values and interests gain recognition and influence in forest management, policy, and research - and whose is overlooked. Who is considered to have legitimate knowledge to define the problems and solutions? How can different actors influence forest policymaking?
