Between 18 and 22 November, SLU’s data protection function will be organising several activities to increase knowledge about and awareness of data protection and related issues.
Do you consider the personal data within your research to be anonymised or pseudonymised? Anonymous data and pseudonymised data are often confused, which can have consequences for your research as well as for SLU. This webinar will explain the differences between anonymous data and pseudonymised data, common misunderstandings related to anonymisation and how all of this relates to you and your research. The webinar will be held in English and is intended for researchers at SLU.

Do you have a question for SLU’s data protection officer? The DPO will be visiting Campus Ultuna and will be available to answer questions.
Staff at other sites can request an online meeting. To set up a meeting, email dataskydd@slu.se with Meet the DPO as the subject. In the email, describe your question and whether you want to meet on campus or online. You will be assigned a time slot for the meeting.
During the week, the data protection function will also release an updated version of its nanolearning course on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The course covers the basics of data protection that all SLU staff must be familiar with.
