Welcome to the SLU Forest Damage Centre's annual conference. During this year's conference, you can take part in research results on forest damage, participate in discussions about implementation for practical forestry and, of course, network.

We hope that you, as a participant during the conference, will get an overview of research on forest damage, that you will gain insight into how research projects go from idea to results. But also that you will participate in discussions regarding the implementation of knowledge for practical forestry and that you will have the possibility to network. The conference invites the forestry sector, you who are professional in forestry, researcher or forest owner.

We will host the conference in Swedish.

The conference includes participation for both days, fika and lunch and dinner on the 18th. Employees within SLU need to contribute with a presentation during the conference and then accommodation and travel are paid for by the SLU Forest Damage Centre. Other participants pay for their own accommodation and travel.

Booking

Please book your own travel. The hotel is booked for all participants by the SLU Forest Damage Centre - please, state at registration if you want a room booked for you. Participants who are not SLU employees pay for the overnight stay on site.

The price for accommodation with breakfast on a government agreement is SEK 888 per room/night ex VAT, SEK 995 per room/night incl VAT. The price for accommodation with breakfast without a government agreement is SEK 1,054 per room/night ex VAT, SEK 1,180 per room/night incl VAT. The overnight stay is paid for by participants even in case of cancellation later than December 15 or no-show.
