SAS Campus agreement
SLU's agreement with SAS Institute includes in principle SAS's entire assortment, but no longer JMP.
Important changes for SAS/JMP:
From 2024 are SAS and JMP seprate campanies with completely separate licensing.

SLU has a campus agreement wth SAS, but not JMP.

SAS no longer sells a package which includes JMP, like we had until 2024.
- Therefore we no longer have JMP Pro licenses to distribute.
How can I get JMP?
JMP gives away their "academic/student" program free to people who belong to the "academic sector".
- The Academic version is built on JMP Pro. Unfortunately, they have chosen to call the "academic" version a "student" version. However, they are the same program. Academic licenses are valid for one year at a time. In order to aquire an academic/student license one must create an acoount at JMP. More information can be found here:

Where can SAS be installed
- All SLU-owned computers on an SLU Campus
- Staff and student private computers for use in work and study at SLU.
Who can fetch and install SAS
IT coordinators may fetch and install SAS on their department's computers.
Where can SAS be obtained
Media is available on the SLU central program share as well as from IT-Support.
Is a package missing?
Contact the LIcense manager for questions regarding packages.
SAS on private computers for work-related use.
Staff and students may install SAS and JMP on their private computers as long as the licnse is only used for non-commercial research or educational purposes.
