SLU:s agreement with Minitab Software applies only to Minitab and MiniTab Express. (Quality Trainer and Quality Companion are not included)
Where Minitab and Minitab Express can be installed:
All SLU-owned computers as well as staff and student private computers when working or studying at SLU.
Who can download and install Minitab and Minitab Express
The IT department's customers install Minitab from Software Center.
IT coordinators and license managers may download and install Minitab and Minitab Express on their department’s computers.
IT coordinators at SLU can obtain license keys, media and information about installation procedures from IT support.
Network installation
Minitab requires access network to the license server license-minitab.slu.se
During installation, the program must be configured to fetch its license from the license server.

Minitab on a private computer when working or studying
Employees and students have the right to install Minitab and Minitab Express on their personal computers as long as the condition that the license is used for educational purposes or for non-commercial research is met.
