Service description: Camera surveillance service
SLU's camera surveillance service offers a complete solution to ensure that businesses can focus on surveillance, without having to deal with technical details. The service is designed to meet the requirements of SLU Security and IT security, with priority on privacy and security.
The service includes:
- Project planning: Planning and design of the camera surveillance system based on the needs of the business.
- Standard installation: Installation of cameras on walls or ceilings where network sockets are available. Special adaptations beyond the standard are charged separately.
- Surveillance cameras: Delivery and operation of surveillance cameras adapted to the needs of the business.
Monitoring tools: Software to manage and monitor the camera images in real time, as well as the ability to review and export recorded material. - Signage: Set of necessary warning signs for camera surveillance. The signs are provided by SLU Security.
- Storage: Secure storage of recorded material up to 7 days is included.
- Training: Training of personnel in the use of the monitoring system. Users also have access to manuals on the internal web or the self-service portal.
- Support: Technical support and help with any problems.
- Management: Ongoing inventory, operation and maintenance as well as configuration and updates of cameras and the surveillance system.
- Supplier contacts: Management of contacts with external suppliers of camera and surveillance technology.
- Lifecycle management: Planning and management of camera and system updates, as well as free replacement at the end of the hardware life.
The service is authorized through Active Directory (AD) and the cameras are connected to a private network behind SLU's firewall, which ensures high security. The service meets requirements set by SLU Security/data protection and IT security.
Terms and Conditions:
- Installation: The standard installation includes mounting on a wall or ceiling where there are network sockets in the premises. Any special adaptations and additions, such as new installation of network sockets or mounts, are charged separately.
- MBL negotiation: Camera surveillance needs to be approved through MBL negotiation with the union before connection. The customer is responsible for this being fulfilled.
- Ordering and error reporting: The service is ordered and any error reports are handled through the IT department's self-service portal. Urgent errors can be reported via telephone 018-67 66 00, dial tone 2.
- Authorizations: Ordering authorizations for cameras is done by the owner (orderer) for each camera either through the self-service portal or to av-forvaltning@slu.se.
- Termination: The service can be terminated with 3 months notice.
Price:
The price for the service is SEK 830 per camera per month. For projects that last less than 6 months, the service can be ordered for a one-time cost of SEK 4,980 per camera.
Charges for additional services, such as extended storage, microphones or button-controlled filter functionality may apply depending on the scope of the services.
