Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute:

In order to strengthen the faculty's research and education, a long-term recruitment plan is needed and a favourable environment for creative collaborations across borders. I can primarily contribute with my experience in the recruitment of higher academic positions and of development work in doctoral education. I can also contribute with insights from interdisciplinary collaborations in human and veterinary research.

Personal reflections:

I look forward to contributing to the work of the faculty board now that the new organization is finally in place. We need to focus more on the core activities and provide opportunities for creative meetings and exchanges of knowledge in both research and teaching. An important task is to find effective forms of including digital tools and AI in the activities, not least in teaching. Increased preparedness for crises is also a necessity.
