Election results for new faculty board 2025-2027
Between October 21 and 29, the election to the LTV faculty board for the period 2025-2027 took place. Of the 259 eligible voters, 180 people voted, which is 69 percent. 5 votes were blank.
The new boards will take office on January 1st 2025. The election of the dean and deputy dean is advisory and the vice-chancellor is expected to make the final decision on 6 November. With that reservation, LTV’s voters have decided that the upcoming faculty board for the next three years will look as follows:

Nomination period 1: June 27-September 5
All employees at the LTV-faculty are invited to nominate candidates for the faculty board.
September 23
The nominating committee presents its proposal.
Nomination period 2: September 23-October 7
Those entitled to vote at LTV-fak are invited to nominate additional candidates in addition to the nominating committee's proposal.
October 21-29
Election period.
23 October
Hearing with the candidates.
In the beginning of November
The vice-chancellor appoints the dean and vice-dean. Election results are presented.

8 May, the Faculty Board at the LTV faculty decided to appoint the following persons as members and alternates for the period 1 May 2024 and until further notice, however, no later than 30 April 2027, personal deputy italicized:

The work of the nominee committee
The nomination committee's task has been to submit proposals to the nine ordinary members/deputies to be appointed to the faculty board for the period 2025–2027. The nomination committee's proposal also includes candidates for the assignments as chair (dean) and vice chair (prodean) of the board.
The nomination committee's task has also been to take into consideration, subject distribution, geographical aspects, gender aspects and any other relevant factors, such as other committees at the faculty that require that the chair of a committee is a member or deputy member of the faculty board. The nomination committee has also considered the nominations received from the employees at the faculty in its final proposal.
