New checklist for making data from environmental monitoring and assessment open

Published: 04 April 2025

A new checklist can help those involved in SLU's environmental monitoring and assessment to make data open, well documented and reusable.

On behalf of the Council for Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, the unit for data management guidance and development has clarified what open data means and what external requirements exist for open data. In addition to a memorandum on open data, the work has been summarised in a checklist showing what is needed to make environmental monitoring data open, reusable and findable.

There are a number of different portals and catalogues where you can make environmental analysis data openly available. On 4 June, the unit for data management guidance and development invites you to a webinar on how to choose where to publish environmental monitoring data.
