SLU starts with digital degree certificates

As of 24 April, SLU students can print their degree certificates themselves from Ladok. This change is part of a larger national digitilisation effort affecting all Swedish higher education institutions.
Degree certificates have so far been issued as a signed pdf file emailed to the student, but this procedure will now change. Degree certificates will no longer be signed digitally but will instead have an e-stamp. A certificate can be downloaded as many times as needed.
For now, the new procedure applies to degree certificates at undergraduate and Master’s level, but not doctoral degrees.
