Throughout 2024, SLU will be focusing on health promotion efforts for staff. This year, we will cover the registration fee for the Blodomloppet charity run.
Blodomloppet will take place in 24 towns around Sweden between May and September. It is also possible to participate elsewhere.
Last year, 2023, 294 persons participated from SLU, see the newsletter from Blodomloppet (only in Swedish). The picture to the right shows participants from the Division of Human Resources in Uppsala.
Blodomloppet is in aid of highlighting the important of giving blood and promotes a healthy lifestyle. SLU employees have the opportunity to donate blood during working hours, according to Villkorsavtal-T.
You can run, jog or walk the 5 or 10km distances, either solo or together with your colleagues. Special races are also held for people with disabilities or who need assistance. A picnic is being held for teams of five who complete the race.
SLU staff can register via the Blodomloppet page by including the reference: SLU%24. A team of five participants is registered by a member of the team. Please observe that the last day for registration differs from place to place. Here is a list for how to make a registration (only in Swedish).
