Dr. Eliyan Chea recently defended her thesis at SLU. Her research was aimed at supporting faecal sludge management planning at a city-wide scale in low- and middle-income countries. This was done by analysing the potential for resource recovery from the faecal sludge generated by waterborne system in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Dr Chea from Royal University Phnom Penh is the first PhD graduate in the Sida bilateral cooperation with Cambodia, and her thesis is relevant for both health and environment in low- and middle-income countries.

Welcome to read an interview with Eliyan Chea here.
