Lomma municipality's employees are welcomed to campus Alnarp

"It's delightful to have the municipality's employees join our beautiful campus, and I'm confident that it will greatly benefit our ongoing collaboration," says Christina Lunner Kolstrup, Dean of the LTV Faculty.

The move-in process begins on October 16th, with activities gradually relocating until November 6th. 90 employees will be situated in Kärnhuset, while 70 employees will move into Apelgården.

In Lomma, a new district is being developed, featuring a new municipal building and a new high school. If everything goes according to plan, the district should be completed by 2027. Since the new municipal building is being constructed on the same site as the current one, the staff will need to temporarily move to different premises during this time.

"I look forward to the municipal building relocating to Alnarp during the construction period. It's a place with a rich history and an inspiring environment. I hope that our presence will lead to a deeper collaboration and strengthen our relationships with SLU, Akademiska Hus, and other stakeholders in the area," says Robert Wenglén, Chairman of the Municipal Board.
