Tomas Österman acting head of the faculty office at LTV

Tomas Österman will be acting head of the faculty office at LTV while the recruitment for a successor to Margit Nothnagl is ongoing
The Faculty Director of the LTV Office, Margit Nothnagl, concludes her employment at SLU on Wednesday, August 23rd, to move on to new challenges as the director at Max IV at Lund University.
Tomas Österman has been employed as a research officer at the LTV Office since 2015 and has been the head of the Education and Management Support Unit at LTV since 2020. As he resides in Norrtälje, his regular office is at Ultuna, but he will be in Alnarp on average two days per week during his time as acting faculty director.
The recruitment of a replacement is in progress; the advertisement has been posted throughout the summer, and the final application deadline was August 21. The chief operating officer, the deputy chief operating officer, and the faculty dean are managing the recruitment process.
