Honorary doctorate at the Faculty of Forestry

The faculty is hereby invited to submit motivated nominations for honorary doctorates at the faculty of forest science.
Anyone who meets one or some of the following criteria can be nominated for an honorary doctorate:
- Particularly outstanding scientists, Swedish or foreign, within the faculty's scientific areas.
- Representatives of business and society or people who studied/worked at the faculty and who made very outstanding contributions, nationally or internationally, which promoted the faculty's areas of activity and development.
- People whose practical or scientific activities have contributed to the development of the faculty or its fields of activity or writers and artists who have dealt with subjects within the faculty's areas of interest.
No one who is employed at the faculty can be appointed an honorary doctorate at their own faculty.
The nomination must be supported by at least ten faculty members and contain a brief biography, a detailed justification for the efforts that are particularly the basis for the honorary doctorate, as well as the person's CV and contact addresses (e-mail, address, phone).
Send the nomination no later than February 17 to Registrator-sfak@slu.se
