New connections at SLU's global network meetings

The network meetings contained a great mix of inspiring presentations combined with the opportunity to create new connections with fellow researchers. The participants came from all faculties as well as different research areas. There were PhD-students, postdocs, administrators and senior researchers, all with the common interest in global development. 

After two years of online meetings due to the pandemic, we were happy to finally visit the campuses at Alnarp and Umeå, as well as meeting the staff at Ultuna. The personal meetings are important, and the conversations really promote creativity. - Katarina Börling, SLU Global

The chance to meet physically strengthen the opportunity to really network and create new contacts, and hopefully, everyone who joined left with new energy and new connections to bring in their future work.

It was exciting to meet so many people interested in projects related to low- and middle-income counties. The SLU Global network meeting in Alnarp is an excellent networking event that open opportunities for cross-departmental collaborations.
