New funding by KSLA

The Department of Economics har received a new funding by KSLA for project leader Annie Roos's project "Mjölkbönder välmående i kristider".
Aims and objectives:
Previous studies on health have shown that farmers feel worse and suffer more from mental illness than the general population. The purpose of this project is to study changes in the general well-being of dairy farmers over time. Based on data collected in 2016, a replication of the study, and an interview study, the hope is to see if the well-being of Sweden's dairy farmers has changed over a 5-year period. The new data collection will have a special focus on how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected.
