Work on our strategy is entering a more concrete phase. Faculty management and the faculty office are compiling the proposal for objectives drafted at the joint faculty board and heads of department meeting on 10 June.
“Work is progressing quickly,” says Denis Avdic at the faculty office. He is the administrative officer responsible for this work.
At the joint faculty board and heads of department meeting on 10 June, participants worked intensely on wording the strategy objectives. This input must now be edited, a task for the dean, the deputy dean, the head of faculty administration and the responsible administrative officer at the faculty office. The result will be concrete objectives which will then be the subject of a consultation round.
The consultation will take place in two steps:
- During the summer, the objectives will be submitted for consultation.
- During autumn, the finalised strategy proposal will be submitted for consultation.
Between these two consultation rounds, a draft will be made available to the SLU Board at their September strategy meeting, as an annex to the SLU strategy.
According to the current schedule, the faculty strategy will then be processed at the November faculty board meeting for a final decision in December.
