News from Head of Department, week 4
Finally Friday!
The week started with double meetings on the department's laboratory animal activities - one on large animals and one on small animals. These meetings are held continuously and concern the care and use of our experimental and teaching animals.
Last Wednesday we had a first meeting with KV's 'ledningsgrupp', where
we discussed our working methods but also got some reports from the business. You can find the notes here:

Information about the 'tillsammans' project was launched on Wednesday
with the help of a website https://internt.slu.se/riktat/interna-fakultetssidor/vh-fakulteten/vh_uds_tillsammans/ and with exhibitions that will be updated along the project. During the week there have been many good discussions about additions, to balance and increase the skills of the various working groups, which are now starting up.
On Thursday, 30 February 13:15 Malin Åberg will defend her licentiate thesis entitled 'Infection dynamics of Cryptosporidium bovis and Cryptosporidium ryanae in cattle'. Good luck, Malin!
During week 5, I am on site all days except Tuesday.
I wish you all a nice weekend!
Nils
