Data protection training for all staff

Published: 19 February 2018

On 25 May, the new EU regulation on data protection (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) enters into force. For us here at SLU, this means new tasks and obligations when we process personal data.

To prepare for this, all staff at SLU will be offered data protection training using the Nanolearning tool. You will receive the first lesson on 22 February, and further lessons will be sent out by email once or twice a week in the weeks to follow. The sender is the SLU address gdpr@slu.se.

Each lesson takes approximately 2–5 minutes to complete. All you need to do is to start the lesson by clicking "Starta lektionen". No login or user name is needed. As the lessons are short, this will require a minimum effort on your part, and at the same time we become better prepared for the new rules.

This training covers the basics of the new data protection regulation. More in-depth information will be available on the staff web.

So, keep an eye on your inbox!
