George Marbuah nailed his thesis, "Essays on environmental management: species invasion, social capital and energy demand". The thesis seminar will be on Friday 9 December, 10.00.
George came to the department as a doctoral student in August 2012, and has been working on the economics of invasive species within the project “Exotic invaders in Swedish streams: evaluation of their ecological and economic effects (EXTREAM)”, as well as performing research on social capital and environmental policy in Sweden, and energy economics in Ghana. We congratulate him on nailing his thesis, and look forward to an interesting and educative seminar on 9 December.
