I am a post-doctoral researcher in the research unit of Microbial Horticulture. My research interest evolve around plant and microbe interactions. In my PhD project I investigated microbial community dynamics on spinach, rocket and Swiss chard, how the level of fertiliser in the cropping system affected the microorganisms and what happens when an human pathogen is introduced to the communities. As a post-doctoral researcher I am involved in a project where I analyse volatile compounds emitted by microorganisms not desirable to find on leafy vegetables.
