Johan Nilsson

My research interests lie in the field of sustainable agricultural systems, with a particular focus on energy and food production. I investigate how changes in consumption and production patterns, coupled with increased resource efficiency, can be leveraged to reduce environmental impacts. I adopt a systems perspective and employ a range of methods, including life cycle assessment (LCA), simulations of soil carbon and nitrogen fluxes, nutrient balance calculations, and mass flow modelling.
