My research is about the ability of plants to deal with stress and disease. Currently we are focusing on several potato project in which new molecular tools are used and developed to make plants more resistant to abiotic stress and disease (mainly against Late and Early Blight). We use laboratory, climate chambers and cultivated fields in our research. We are also looking into general questions about plant innate immunity.
