The Grants Office is organizing an in-person MSCA-PF Masterclass for committed future fellows and their supervisors.
Dates: 22–23 May, 2025 (fellows)
21 May 2025, 9.00–11.00 (supervisors)
Location: SLU Ultuna, Sweden (fellows)
Online (supervisors)
Why join?
During the masterclass, future fellows will receive key information about the application process and in-depth proposal writing training, getting a head start to develop a competitive MSCA-PF proposal. In an associated hybrid event (21 May), supervisors will receive a roadmap for how they can contribute to making the proposal successful. Please note that supervisor participation is mandatory. After the Masterclass, committed applicants will receive hands-on support with developing their proposals, provided by Research Coordinators Caroline Grabbe and Marianne Gillion (SLU Grants Office).
Who can apply?
Committed future fellows with SLU as a host are invited to apply. You must meet the MSCA-PF eligibility criteria:
In addition, you must have a dedicated supervisor (host) at SLU and approval from the Head of Department to take this course. SLU researchers intending to apply with an external host may also apply, but will only be offered a place if there is availability (and will not be eligible for a travel stipend).
Course costs
The course is free. Lunches and fika during the course will be provided. The Grants Office has earmarked funding for up to 15 stipends, as a contribution towards expenses for travel and accommodation. All participants applying with an SLU host that are accepted to the course will receive a stipend, but not fellows applying with a supervisor at other host institutions.
