In conjunction with Ultuna Careers Day, arranged by Ultuna student union (ULS), there are sessions specifically for international students who are interested to learn more about working in Sweden and getting some practical tips and tricks. A new session every 30 minutes. Attend all, or choose the ones that interest you.

Be inspired by Ahmeds story. From Bangladesh to his current position at Arlanda in Sweden. Listen to his tips about how to get an internship, a job and how its like to work in Sweden. After degrees in Food science and Technology from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Bangladesh, Ahmed came to Sweden in 2019 to study the Sustainable Food Systems program at SLU. During his studies Ahmed had in internship at Swegreen, a Swedish start-up in vertical farming. Ahmed has work experience in the food technology sector from both Bangladesh and Sweden.

This session takes place in the computer lab in Ulls hus, level 1.
During spring semester 2025, SLU students will have the opportunity to do field work and collect data for thesis work in a low- or middle-income country. The scholarships are funded by SLU through Erasmus+, (European Commission) or Minor Field Studies (Sida). Deadline for MFS applications is 29 November 2024.
All SLU students have the opportunity to do an internship, either within or outside of your study programme. Through the Erasmus+ program, you can receive a grant to do an internship at a company, organization, or a university in any other EU country.
