Text: Getting our cities right.

Welcome to a conference organised by the future platform SLU Urban Futures, in collaboration with SLU Movium Think Tank. Together we will explore Living Labs as new formats for research, teaching and collaborations.

“The future of our planet depends on getting our cities right”

Welcome to Alnarp

Following the first conference at Ultuna Campus this summer, where we looked at transformative change through the lens of sustainable foodscapes, this conference at Alnarp Campus will focus on Living Laboratories as new formats for research, teaching and society interaction. The 'Getting our Cities Right' conference series

SLU Urban Futures is organising a series of day-conferences, where researchers, students and anyone active in - or simply interested in - sustainable urban development, are invited. The series explores different ways of making our cities and communities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. The 11th Sustainable Development Goal will be used, both as a portal - for understanding the interconnected social, economic and environmental challenges society faces, and as a docking station - for connecting to the other 16 development areas, envisioning how we facilitate transformative change.
