Africa’s compelling case for a different mode of partnership in agricultural research and development

Listen to and discuss with Dr. Tsedeke Abate from Homegrown Vision.

Tsedeke describes himself as a student of agricultural development who is passionate about scaling up available technologies and agricultural transformation. He feels very lucky to have had the opportunities to work both for national government and the international development community, which has given him the insight to understand both sides.

He will talk about the need for Africans to take the leadership for their own development agenda and be accountable. The need for revisiting the nature of development partnership – equality in partnership.
