The research platforms Urban Arena at Lund University and SLU Urban Futures are arranging the popular Urban Forum - Practice meets Academia, for the fifth time in November 2021. This is the third time the forum takes place online.

TIME IN DESIGN – Navigating past, present, and future

The digital version of the Urban Forum offers a rare opportunity, to thrive on international exchanges between practitioners and thinkers sharing visions and prospects on aspects of time in design.

The format of the Urban Forum is fostering exchanges between practice and academia, in a collegial atmosphere. The safe space should allow everyone to speak freely about ongoing projects and unresolved issues, to share intuitions and bold ideas they wish to bring to light and get feedback on. For this reason, the sessions will not be recorded and the audience is limited to presenters and their colleagues.
