Your intended audience and message determine which communication channels to use – for example, an external web news item combined with a press release to daily and trade media, and a post on LinkedIn.
Communication plans, target audiences and communication policy
- On the Communication plans page, you’ll find the steps to consider when planning communication for an activity, project, or organisational unit.
- SLU’s priority external audiences include prospective students, alumni, professionals in industry and government, research funders, and international partners and universities. You can read more about this on the page SLU’s communication policy and guidelines.
- The page Content strategy for SLU’s websites describes the target audiences for the Swedish and English sites. You may also have more specific audiences you want to reach within your own area of work.
