Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute

I want to continue the faculty's quality work to further develop and strengthen research at the faculty. To conduct research of the highest quality, advanced research infrastructure is required, and here I want to work to strengthen and develop the infrastructure that exists at the faculty. Finally, I want to work to build clear career paths for the faculty's staff and that this should be in focus already when a new employee is recruited.

Personal reflections

I find working at a leadership position in a knowledge-intensive organization like a university extremely stimulating and challenging. I hope that as vice dean I will have opportunities to work for the development of faculty by increasing collaboration between our departments, developing our excellence and increasing the faculty’s presence in the public conversation to further strengthen SLU’s role in the ongoing transition to a more sustainable society.
