Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute

In times when sustainability is challenged by various crises; the state of the environment and the climate, political turbulence and questioning of knowledge, we need to be strong. Here, in addition to the research subjects, interdisciplinary, sensitivity to the societal needs combined with critical perspectives are needed. Future students need to find SLU. I have solid experience in collaboration and in teaching and in my role as head of division I handle many complex issues.

Personal reflections

Clear principles and strategies are important for predictability at faculty level, but this must not replace a good discussion, where arguments are tested and weighed against each other. I believe I can contribute to such a conversational atmosphere as a member. I have experience of working in the board, am collaborative, and stand up for what I think is important. Gender equality and equal opportunities are necessary aspects of resource distribution issues.
