Important future issues for the faculty and how I can contribute:

Career development of teachers and researchers by advocating tailored training for skills development, improving job security and introducing promotion opportunities.

Investing in technology and infrastructure that favors innovation in both teaching and research, as well as cross-departmental collaborations that include stakeholders.

Promoting an inclusive leadership approach that incorporates both top-down and bottom-up perspectives for aligning development with faculty needs.

Personal reflections:

As a senior lecturer, docent and research group leader, I collaborate closely with stakeholders to tackle research questions of societal relevance. My administrative leadership experience both at the department and faculty level will be an asset in the new role of pro-dean where I will actively support initiatives for continuous development of the faculty and its members. Additionally, my previous experiences at Gothenburg University and Lund University provide valuable perspectives that I will bring to this role.
