SLU has been designated as a Topic Centre Organisation (TCO) for the European Environment Agency (EEA) 2027–2030.
The EEA has designated 206 TCOs as part of the European Environment Information and Observation Network (Eionet) for the period 2027–2030, of which SLU is one of the designated organisations.
The network of organisations will support the agency's work during 2027–2030 with their expertise.

About TCO
The TCOs support the EEA in carrying out several important tasks within the collection, verification and assessment of environmental and climate data that EU Member States report to the EEA in accordance with EU legislation and other requirements.
In order to become a Topic Centre and enter into agreements with the EEA, an organisation must first be designated as a TCO.
