Welcome to another exciting episode of Edutalks.

Marie Bengtsson is a professor at the Department of Plant Protection Biology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Marie is one of SLU's more experienced teachers and is constantly engaged in pedagogical discussions at the university.

In this episode, Jan Stockfors talks with Marie about her teaching, primarily in chemistry, and how she successfully combines the best of traditional teaching methods with new ways of working. It involves student-active approaches that, when relevant, include carefully selected technological support. The conversation also touches on Marie's experience of applying for and being promoted to an excellent teacher.
