Stay alert to phishing

Recently, a phishing email has been sent to several SLU email addresses, asking the recipient to verify their SLU account. This email contains the SLU logo and a fake link to what appears to belong to the university’s domain.
The email falsely claims that a database update is ongoing and all active users must verify their accounts. It has been sent from an external domain and states that accounts must be verified as soon as possible to prevent deactivation.
The Security Unit recommends that you delete this phishing email and do not reply to it or click on any links.
Contact csirt@slu.se and sakerhet@slu.se immediately if you have clicked on the link in the phishing email and provided your login details.
