How we contribute to Agenda 2030

“So much is being done at SLU that is relevant to Agenda 2030, and this is reflected in the number of research publications directly connected to the sustainable development goals. But we also contribute through the profile and content of our programmes, our active in-house sustainability efforts related to climate, environment, gender equality and equal opportunities, as well as strong global cooperations” says Ylva Hillbur, pro vice-chancellor for international relations.

“Last but not least, our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the strategy, where one of the focus areas addresses how, together, we can take the next step for sustainability.”

The new web page, maintained by the Environment Unit, will provide information on how to do this.

“We’re happy to be responsible for coordinating SLU’s Agenda 2030 efforts,” says Johanna Sennmark, environmental manager at SLU. “It is now obvious also from our web pages that our environmental work is part of a greater context where the focus is on Agenda 2030.”
