Since the 1st of April Elin Dahlgren coordinates SLU's participation in the Baltic Sea Science Center. She replaces Jens Olsson who previously had the assignment.

Elin Dahlgren currently works at the unit for migratory fish, within the Institute of Freshwater Research in Drottningholm, and has a PhD in plant ecology. She switched professional focus to aquatic environments through her interest in environmental toxins and the adaptation of marine algae in the Baltic Sea. Elin has previously worked with issues regarding fish health, environmental monitoring and assessment as well as ecotoxicology. She also has some teaching experience.

– I look forward to an exciting assignment where I will learn more about SLU’s work related to the Baltic Sea, says Elin Dahlgren.

In the pipe this spring are for example digital events and lectures focusing on the status of the Baltic Sea - opportunities for school classes to meet experts from SLU.
