Grants for new projects about mercury and greenhouse gasses awarded by the Swedish Research Council

Kevin Bishop and Marcus Wallin from the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment have been awarded 3,9 million SEK each by the Swedish Research Council for new projects about mercury and greenhouse gasses, respectively.

Two projects from the department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment have received grants from the Swedish Research Council call for projects within Natural and Engineering Sciences.

Kevin Bishop is main applicant for the project Shedding light on the dark reduction mobilizing mercury in peat acrotelm.

Marcus Wallin is main applicant for the project Sources And Dynamics of Greenhouse gases in Agricultural Streams (SAD-GAS) – a process-based approach for improved understanding of a large atmospheric source.

Each project has been granted 3,9 million SEK.
