Researchers from the Rural Entrepreneurship Group has been awarded Highly Commended paper

Published: 01 June 2017

Johan Gaddefors and Alistair Anderson, researchers at the Department of Economics, have together with Steffen Korsgaard written an article that’s been selected as a Highly Commended paper at the Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence. It is the journal’s editorial team that have selected the paper.

The paper, Entrepreneurship as re-sourcing: Towards a new image of entrepreneurship in a time of financial, economic and socio-spatial crisis, has the ambition to align entrepreneurship theorising with the needs for more environmental and social resilience by redirecting our entrepreneurial thinking away from opportunistic resource consumption metaphors and from the idea of creative destruction to creative renewal.

Johan and Alistair will likely be presented the certificate of the award at the ISBE conference later this year. The paper is, due to being selected, available to the public until 20th of June 2018 at the journal’s website: http://www.emeraldinsight.com/doi/full/10.1108/JEC-03-2014-0002.
