Presentation
Associate professor (Docent) in community ecology at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Department of Aquatic Resources (Aqua), Institute of Coastal Research.
Research
My research profile has gradually expanded from fish ecology during my bachelor and master programmes to aquatic community ecology during my PhD study. During my post-doctoral periods at SLU, Uppsala University, and Cornell University, I focused on invasion ecology, ecological stoichiometry, community ecology, and biodiversity-ecosystem function relationships in lake system. In my previous position in SLU (Department of Wildlife, Fish and Environmental Studies), I addressed questions related to salmonids and stream ecology. These research focuses have been combined with biological indicators, invasive species, climate change, modelling, and coastal ecology during my current position at SLU where my communication with stakeholders and authorities were also strengthened.
