Research
Metabolomics – In metabolomics, various analytical techniques are used to analyze low-molecular-weight compounds (metabolites) in a large number of samples from biological materials. A prerequisite for large-scale metabolomics studies is access to efficient methods for data analysis. Developing methods for efficient data analysis can enable quantification in increasingly complex samples. Here, I am involved in conducting research on the AQuA algorithm to accelerate data analysis.
Food Science – Developing new plant-based foods can contribute to more sustainable food systems, but plant-based dairy alternatives sometimes exhibit poorer nutritional and/or sensory properties. I am currently project manager for the FORMAS project "Fermentation of Swedish faba beans for foods with improved texture, flavour and nutritional properties" (2020-00861_Formas).
