Dalia Abdelfattah
Associate Professor (Docent) of Technology, Energy and technology department. Director of Studies, Sustainable systems for food, energy and biomaterials research school (SSFEB) Her research interests is related to: climate change impacts, bioenergy, eco-friendly production, system analysis thinking.

Presentation

Dr.Abdelfattah has a PhD in Environmental studies from Alexandria University, Egypt with a background in Agriculture engineering. Her research focuses on the environmental impacts of renewable energy materials and related applications, such as transportation, through the use of life cycle assessment methodology. She is a leading team member of the system analysis and bioeconomy platform within Bio4Energy, a specialized research program appointed by the Swedish government on strategic research areas  for the development of highly efficient and environmentally sound biorefinary processes and biomaterials. Dr. Abdelfatta is an emerging research leader in life cycle assessment for Arctic sustainability. She received several grants for projects related to “System analysis thinking for Arctic sustainability” and communication of scientific research. She is an active member in several ongoing research projects related to sustainability of pulp and paper industry in North Sweden. Dr. Abdelfatta is also a key organizer of seminar series/conferences for the dissemination of key findings to a range of groups.
