Presentation
From 2004 to 2007 after graduating in Veterinary Medicine, I worked as a clinician and surgeon in my own practice in Colombia. During that time I completed Postgraduate Diplomas in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery and Diagnostic Imaging.
In 2007 I moved to Spain to join a Master of Science degree in Diagnostic Techniques at the University of Murcia and a 2 years master program in Small Animal Surgery; at the same time, I worked in several clinics and hospitals in Spain. In 2016 I defended my doctoral thesis (PhD.) in Animal Medicine & Surgery at the University of Murcia.
In 2016 I moved to the Costa del Sol in Spain and worked as a consultant in several clinics and hospitals as an orthopedic & soft tissues surgeon and performing rigid and flexible endoscopies; the same year I founded an education and training company for veterinarians and nurses.
In 2020 I moved to Sweden where I have worked in clinics and hospitals of Värmland and Örebro regions. In 2024 I obtained the title of Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery & Traumathology of Small Animals at the University Complutense of Madrid. Currently I work as a surgeon in the Small Animal University Hospital (UDS) and as a Universitetsadjunkt in Small Animal Surgery at KV (SLU).
